Our story

While searching for a children’s book for a young cousin at a store, our owner was hopeful to find a story featuring a Mexican little girl or family—something that reflected their own cultural background. However, to their surprise and disappointment, the shelves were lacking any such representation. Instead, they were stocked with tales of animals, fairy tale characters, and families that didn’t mirror the diverse world we live in.

This shopping trip turned out to be eye-opening. It highlighted a significant issue: despite widespread claims of diversity, true cultural representation remains scarce in the market. As our owner dove deeper, they realized this was more than just an absence of diverse products. It showed a larger societal issue where people are often expected to downplay their complex identities to fit into pre-defined molds.

From this realization, they embarked on a mission to ignite change. Today, we create products that help bold creatives break free from societal constraints, giving them the confidence and freedom to be 100% themselves.

The woman behind the brand

Jordan Garcia, the creative force behind Inner Creatives, launched in 2023, has always been deeply connected to the world of art, finding inspiration in everything from traditional paintings, captivating photography, soul-stirring music, and movies that transport you to other worlds.

Her vision for Inner Creatives stemmed from a desire to create a space where artistic expression and individual authenticity are not just celebrated but are the foundation of the company.
